Let’s talk…Grocery Stores!

OK, friends…we’re doing another FUN and interactive blog today, and this time I want to hear from YOU!!

Let’s talk about something we ALL have an opinion about…THE GROCERY STORE!

I mean, think about it…we all have our favorites. Some people LOVE a good bargain and will drive across town to save a few dollars. Some people are all about the local foods and supporting their neighborhood stores. Some people are loyal to their favorite chain and wouldn’t dream of shopping anywhere else.

And then there are people like ME…who have several favorites and will make special trips to certain grocery stores just to get ONE or TWO things that I absolutely LOVE!!

Come on…you know what I’m talking about!! LOL

So, let’s have some fun with this…

What’s YOUR favorite grocery store?

Are you a bargain shopper? Are you checking the weekly ads, comparing prices, using coupons, and doing a little happy dance when you find something on sale? If it’s BOGO, marked down, or has a great deal…you’re probably grabbing it!

Or are you more of a “I like to shop local” kind of person? Maybe you love finding locally grown produce, local meats, specialty foods, or those little hidden gems that you just can’t find at the big chain stores.

Maybe you’re a chain grocery store loyalist. You know exactly where everything is, you have your favorite brands, you know which checkout line moves the fastest, and you can practically do your grocery shopping with your eyes closed!

And let’s talk about how often you go…

Are you a once-a-week grocery shopper? You make your list, plan your meals, grab EVERYTHING you need, and you’re done.

Or are you like me and find yourself saying, “I just need to run into the store for ONE thing.”

And then somehow you leave with three bags.

HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?!

And here’s my other question…

Do you have ONE favorite grocery store, or do you have several?

Because I definitely fall into the “several favorites” category.

I might go to one store for my everyday basics, another for certain meats or produce, another because they have a favorite snack or treat that I just CAN’T find anywhere else…and then there’s the store I go to because, well…sometimes I’m just in the mood to wander around and see what I can find!

You know…a “grocery adventure.” LOL

So, today I want to hear from YOU!!

Tell me what you LOVE about it.

Do you shop the bargains?

Do you shop local?

Do you have a favorite chain?

Do you go once a week…or does your grocery store practically know you by name?

And most importantly…

What is that ONE grocery item you will make a special trip for because you just HAVE to have it?!

Maybe I’ll discover a new grocery store to add to my list of favorites…or maybe I’ll discover that I’m not the only one who makes a 20-minute special trip for ONE thing.
