Thank You!

“Thank you!!”

By K. Ross

Last blog was such a hit! I loved reading all of your girls trip recommendations… you all understood the assignment. 👏 There were so many good ones, it was honestly hard to choose. Beach towns, mountain getaways, wineries, city escapes… I was ready to pack a bag for all of them!

But after much debate (and maybe a group text that got slightly out of control), we landed on Falls Church. And let me just say… GREAT choice.

First things first — where we stayed. If you’ve never been to the Archer Hotel Falls Church, let me introduce you to your next weekend getaway. From the moment we walked in, it felt chic but cozy… modern but still warm. You know that perfect mix where you instantly feel like you’re somewhere special? That was it. The décor was stunning, the beds were cloud-like (very important for late night girl chats), and the location was perfect for walking to restaurants and exploring. Safe to say, we would absolutely stay there again.

Now let’s talk about the real reason we travel… FOOD.

Dinner the first night was at B Side and WOW. If you love a moody, intimate vibe with food that makes you pause mid-bite just to say “okayyyyy,” this is your spot. Everything we ordered felt thoughtful and elevated without being fussy. You know I love a place where you can share plates, taste a little bit of everything, and maybe steal a bite off your friend’s dish when she isn’t looking. (No shame.) The cocktails? Just as impressive. It was the perfect first-night-out setting.

And because no girls trip is complete without brunch… we made our way to Le Pain Quotidien the next morning. Fresh bread, flaky pastries, avocado toast, strong coffee — YES PLEASE. There is just something about sitting around a table, sipping coffee a little slower than usual, recapping the night before, and planning the day ahead. Brunch on a girl’s trip isn’t just a meal… it’s an event.

What I loved most about Falls Church was how easy it all felt. Walkable spots, amazing food, adorable hotel, and just enough to do without feeling rushed. Sometimes you don’t need a plane ticket or a packed itinerary. Sometimes you just need your people, good food, and a cute hotel lobby to gather in before heading out.

So, to everyone who sent recommendations — THANK YOU. Keep them coming because clearly you all know what you’re doing. 😉

If you’re looking for a quick, fun, stress-free girls’ getaway… Falls Church might just be calling your name. Grab your comfiest travel outfit, book the room, and make the reservation. Trust me… it’s worth it.
